Padmasambhava Thangka — Large Format, Gold Style

This large-format thangka depicts Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) in the Nyingma lineage refuge field format, hand-painted on cotton canvas with natural mineral pigments and extensive gold leaf application. The refuge field composition places Padmasambhava at the center of a mandala arrangement that includes lineage teachers, yidam deities, and offering figures typical of the Nyingma lineage visual tradition.

• Pigments: Natural mineral pigments — vermilion, ultramarine, malachite, gold — applied in layered washes
• Gold leaf: Extensive gold leaf on figure robes, mandala geometry, and background fields
