This singing bowl is handcrafted using traditional metalworking techniques. The bowl body is made from a copper-tin alloy, hand-hammered to produce its resonant tone. The exterior features a cross-vajra (rus-rdo rje) motif engraved around the outer wall — four vajra scepters arranged at cardinal points, each on a lotus base. When struck or circled with a wooden mallet, the bowl produces a sustained harmonic tone.

Materials and Construction:

• Metal alloy: Copper-tin composition, hand-hammered; exact ratio varies by maker
• Cross Vajra engraving: Four vajra scepters arranged in a cross pattern on the outer bowl wall; each vajra on a lotus base; the motif is engraved and hand-finished
• Interior: Polished to a reflective finish to enhance tonal response
• Wooden mallet: Included; used to strike or circle the rim

Sound Profile:

The bowl produces a fundamental tone with two to three audible overtones, depending on strike angle and pressure. The harmonic complexity is influenced by the bowl wall thickness and the hand-hammering process. Typical fundamental frequency falls in the low-to-mid range, suitable for meditation timer use or as a room tone.

Use:

• Strike the rim or side with the wooden mallet for a single tone
• Circle the mallet around the outer rim to produce a sustained harmonic drone
• Place on a cushion or resonance mat to amplify low-frequency response

Caring for Your Bowl:

• Store in a dry place; avoid moisture and perfume contact
• Wipe with a dry cloth after use to remove fingerprint oils
• Do not stack heavy objects on top of the bowl

Note: Each bowl is handcrafted; variations in wall thickness, diameter, and hammer marks are normal and reflect the handmade process. The engraved cross-vajra pattern is applied by hand; minor irregularities in alignment are characteristic of hand production.

• Processing Time: Because our items are sourced from Tibet, where international logistics are less developed, they need to be transported to Guangzhou for unified quality inspection and packaging.

Return Policy:

• Dear friends, products that are truly from the Tibetan area and have been blessed are usually not returned randomly. And after many years if they don’t need them anymore or want to exchange, they will return these items to the local temple or pass them on to others who need them, which is a karmic cycle in their view.
• We sincerely hope you get the best satisfaction, although these products have been blessed by monks full of spirituality are generally not refundable. if do need to return an item, please ensure to send us an email requesting the return within 14 days of receiving the product.
• Customized products are difficult to resell; therefore, they are not eligible for returns.
• Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging.
