Yellow Jambhala, known as ‘Norla’ in Tibetan, is depicted with yellow complexion, hence named Yellow Jambhala. He is a protective deity in Vajrayana Buddhism, the foremost among wealth deities. Yellow Jambhala is one of the Five Colorful Wealth Deities revered by various Tibetan Buddhist sects, alongside White, Red, Green, and Black Jambhalas. Yellow Jambhala is portrayed bare-chested with a skirt, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel in his right hand symbolizing the radiance of treasures illuminating all directions, bringing blessings to sentient beings. His left hand embraces a large mongoose (treasure spitting mongoose), which carries jewels in its mouth, symbolizing wealth. His right foot rests on a white conch shell, signifying his ability to traverse the ocean to acquire treasures.
